gq: Spotted by GQ’s Stan Parish, who sent along this note about why he couldn’t stop staring at this image in The New York Times: This guy clearly got the shit beat out of him, and what does he do? He bandages his wounds, gets back up on the barrier, lights a smoke, and looks around. This guy is the reason those pro-government thugs should throw in the towel, because whatever Mubarak is paying isn’t worth it. You don’t beat guys like that. It reminds me of that great line about Nicky Santoro from Casino: “You beat Nicky with fists, he comes back with a bat. You beat him with a knife, he comes back with a gun.
